Hey, my Squids! I’ve returned with some more WIP of page 9 for Chapter 3 Part 2.
Got the top left panel done on my lunch break from work and set up the bottom panel using Leira’s apartment that I designed in The Sims 4.
It’s funny that working on this chapter, I’ve codified how I want to handle a lot of things regarding Taliah, from the art direction to the writing and even page count. Chapter 3 will probably be the biggest chapter because it had the most to set up. Everything that happens in it informs the rest of the story. But it’s when I also refined how I want to do backgrounds, how I want to shade and light the rest of the comic. In coming chapters, I’ll continue to tweak what I do, but it started here, with the chapter that spells out Leira and Saul’s relationship and his death. A true beginning and end.
