Hey, my Squids!
I have another playlist for you all to check out. Here’s the blurb about the project that I posted when I posted Leira’s:
“Recently, I’ve been putting together playlists for the characters that you’ll meet in my webcomic, Taliah. I tend to listen to a lot of different music while working on the pages, so I thought it would be fun if you got a sampling of what I’m jamming out to while I work. Coincidentally, it’s also music that the characters would listen to! So why not put together playlists of the type of music they would rock while going about their lives?”
The second playlist is Micah Ido’s! Micah would appear to have eccentric tastes in the music they listen to but it all has its purpose: whether it’s to amp them up or calm them down. They tend to gravitate towards hip-hop and digital “game-esque” scores but also love having calm, avantgarde types of music on rotation. One thing is for certain, you’ll never know what will play next when you’re listening to music with Micah.
A little caveat for this list but the Spotify list is different from the Apple Music list. The version of Sprout and the Bean available on Spotify features a different person singing and a different sound instrumentation. It’s not bad, it’s just not the intended sound that you’ll find in the Apple Music list. Subsequently, Bill Beats ‘Wonderful World’ track featuring Shubzilla is absent on Spotify, so I’ve included a Bandcamp link for you to get it there. As always, support the pair because they make some killer jams… and I would say obtain it for list completion as the way that track ends and the way the opening track starts pairs nicely together in a loop.
Fun fact: This playlist features a bunch of friends on production and vocals, like DJ Reimei, SkyBlew, Klopfenpop, Bill Beats, and Shubzilla!
