Stopping by to drop some work in progress of page 6 from Chapter 3 for you! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE SEE SAUL IN A PANEL WITH LEIRA! The person who is the entire catalyst for the story, finally shows up and … is… not looking at her. Admittedly, he thought she was still up in Warukem for another few months on assignment, so he wasn’t really expecting her to be at her desk today. Still, look at him wearing his little Organizational Collective uniform. They have royal blue outfits, whereas the Zoological ones are green. I wonder how he’s going to react when she walks up to him.
Fun fact: This entire interaction was supposed to show up in Chapter 1. A lot of Leira’s backstory was supposed to take place after this flash back but because of the nature of webcomics, I thought it better to move all of that forward and push some of this to later chapters. Glad I’m finally able to show you what’s been stirring in my head for almost five years now.
